Access & Rise Canada
Access & Rise Canada is a
not-for-profit organization with a focus on developing solutions
to accessibility issues and implementing them in Canadian
cities.
Mandate
Access & Rise Canada (ARC) is a
not-for-profit organization and is a member of the ONAMAP
Inspiration Portfolio, a department of the ONAMAP Network. ARC
serves to fulfill a part of the portfolios mandate:
"ONAMAP Inspiration will assist in
developing community groups in Canada. Many of these groups will aim
to foster community growth and betterment through the development of
educational resources in areas that are not fully understood (such
as mental health, stress, overcoming adversity, bullying response,
individualizing education, and the effects of commercialization on
education and a child's development. A key emphasis is on mental and
physical health, individual abilities and disabilities,
accessibility (due to distance or other reason), and creativity."
Programs
We currently offer 4 programs in
Canada geared towards responding to accessibility issues.

3) ARC Solutions: Minute-a-Week
4) ARC Solutions: Sticker Talk
Get Involved
Take the ARC Intro Course offered at
the ONAMAP Institute. It's Free! Read through the course
materials, watch any videos posted and that's all there is to
it. There is no quiz or examination for this course.
Additional courses are available
through the ONAMAP Institute. Details will be available soon
once these courses are ready for enrolment.
